New Week....

Hi all, Just a quick pass through. I gather that a few of my high school breddrin had a small lime on Friday night which I missed because of an assignment which was due on Saturday. I had to pass so will try to make the next one. Having done the schoolwork though I went to another link up with some people from the auto forum that I participate in. It was quite a nice little link up. It was the 1st time that I was actually meeting these people face to face, having only had computer contact with them over the past year or two. It is good to finally put face to screen names.
Well on Sunday my nephew made a step in church by receiving his First Communion. Congrats T.D.
Well, my son went yesterday to get his TRN and his provisional drivers' licence. He came home and I assisted in making 2 red "L"s for him so he can drive under supervision of a licenced driver. My car is therefore in serious trouble. Hope he doesn't think that the PS2 games and real driving are the same thing. He is anxious to get out on the road so I kinda need to temper that. He is already a competent driver but still rough around the edges so this now allows him to venture further on the roads as he was only able to drive on private property when the arms of the law were not around. Wish me luck. I need erase some of the bad habits he has already picked up. I can't afford an instructor for him right now so.......
Anyways I gotta run so we'll chat some more later..

Take my advice... seek out one of those old Morris Oxfords. If you can't find one, get a 1972 Ford Escort or some other old bruck like that, but preferably one that can take licks. Teach him on that, preserve your ride.

Hope it all works out for you both...

I'm hoping you are an "excellent" driver as we would not want one road hog bringing up another (smile) ... that's a big step that comes with a lot of responsibility so make sure you stay close to him with this one and guide him along the way. MB, Those Ford Escorts can take some licks fi real. My grandfather has one of those Morris Oxford which he sold just last year! Don't know who bought it and how much they paid but that car carried me to school many a day.
