Holiday Eve
Hi all friends and fans and family.
Today is known as Holy Thursday in church circles. It is celebrated in some churches as the Last Supper. Remember the famous painting by Mikey. Well today is the eve of the holidays for us in Jamaica. The season of bun and cheese if you will. The tradition here in Jamaica is for bun and cheese to be eating replacing many standard meals. Meat is replaced by fish on Good Friday (tomorrow). As a result, try as you might if you are able to purchase fish between today and Saturday you are one lucky smaddy (somebody/person). It is usualy scarce and expensive. Good old econ...few goods high demand = higher price.
Tomorrow and Monday are Public holidays so we get a four day weekend. :)
So in case I don't see you again until Tuesday...let me wish you
A Holy, Peaceful and Happy Easter to you and your families.
Peace to you all.
